St. Thomas' School
St Thomas' school has a strong relationship with the church, with Reverend Mitchell taking class assemblies every Wednesday. There are also a number of parish members and church officials who are on the school's Governing body and who help out in classes.
The School visits the church not only as part of it's curriculum but also for regular services at the end of each half term. In addition the whole school takes part in Holy Communion every Easter making it of special religious significance for the students. Additionally, at the school annual fair many of the stall holders play an active part in the church and the event is regularly attended by members of the congregation and other parishioners.
The school has always had strong links with the church and this special relationship is actively maintained and encouraged by the school's present Headmaster, Mr Adam Laskey.
