Welcome to St Thomas' Church Website

St Thomas Church is a beautiful building of historical interest as well as its main function as a place of worship. The church is open to visitors every Wednesday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from March to September

You are weldome to join us for our services, which are held at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. every Sunday. Please see the page on 'Services' for more details. Our Church is blessed with a warm and welcoming congregation, and all age groups are represented. We also have a thriving Sunday School which runs alongside the 10:30 service.

The Church is at the heart of Moorside and is a focusfor the community , and many former residents want to bring their children back for baptism and hold their weddings in our church, even if they no longer live in Moorside. Worship is the main focus of Church life, and newcomers are welcome to join us at any of our services.

As well as attending services, many of our members help to organise and take part in various formal and social events hosted by the Church. We are also fortunate to have a modern Church Hall which hosts activities such as Keep Fit sessions, children's parties, dancing groups, drama groups, etc. and is available for hire for those interested in hosting almost any event.

All of the activities directly or indirectly associated with the Church always look forward to welcoming any new members of their groups. Take a look at our Activities page and perhaps you'll find something there that appeals or is of interest.
